AURA - STRESS AND NEGATIVITY

It must be understood that the mind exists not only in the brain, but also through-out the body. The nervous system extends to every organ and tissue in the body and so the mind exists here also. It is also known that the mind even extends outside the body in a subtle energy field 2 to 3 feet thick called the aura. Because of this, it is more appropriate to call our mind a mind/body as the mind and body are so closely linked.

Therefore, our negative thoughts are not just in the brain, but also collect in various locations through-out the body and in the aura. The places where negative thoughts and feelings collect is where Ki is restricted in its flow. The physical organs that exist at these locations are restricted in their functioning. If the negative thoughts and feelings are not eliminated quickly, illness results.

The negative thoughts and feelings that are lodged in the unconscious mind/body are the greatest problem as we are not aware of them and therefore, are we are greatly hampered in changing or eliminating them.

Stress is often caused by conflicting thoughts and feelings that get lodged in one's subtle energy system. These include fear, worry, doubt, anger, anxiety, etc. Medical research has determined that continual stress can block the body's natural ability to repair, regenerate and protect itself. The American Institute of Stress estimates that 75%-95% of all visits to doctors are the results of reaction to stress. The effects of unreleased stress range from minor aches to major health concerns, such as heart disease, digestive disorders, respiratory and skin problems.  As a whole, Western medicine recognizes the role played by the mind in creating illness and some Western doctors state that as much as 98% of illness is caused directly or indirectly by the mind.

REIKI AND RELEXOLOGY INTRODUCTION
REIKI, REFLEXOLOGY, AND THE 21st CENTURY

Yoga nidra is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the "going-to-sleep" stage. It is a state in which the body is completely relaxed, and the practitioner becomes systematically and increasingly aware of the inner world by following a set of verbal instructions. This state of consciousness (yoga nidra) is different from meditation in which concentration on a single focus is required.

In yoga nidra the practitioner remains in a state of light pratyahara with four of his or her senses internalised, that is, withdrawn, and only the hearing still connects to the instructions. The yogic goal of both paths, deep relaxation (yoga nidra) and meditation are the same, a state called samadhi.

The sound and vibrations emanating from the crystal singing bowls re-tune the listener's body, initially by opening, clearing, and re-balancing each of the 7 major charkas, plus the high heart. The high heart is the one heart that connects all hearts to the One, to spirit, to God.

“There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and will be lost.”

This is the purpose and beauty of REIKI and REFLEXOLOGY- energy healing: to unblock our vital life force, so we can dance through life with the grace and ease that are each individual’s birthright.

As young children we do not question that the world we perceive through our senses is the whole thing. Later we learn that our senses are actually inadequate to know the world. In terms of total perception you actually get a lot more than you can just see, hear, taste or touch.  Other natural phenomena we have come to have some understanding of include: gravity, and magnetism, not to mention huge advances in physical brain function and psychology

Reiki is a technique that aids the body in releasing stress and tension by creating deep relaxation. Because of this, Reiki promotes healing and health. At a simple level, Rei is generally considered to signify 'Soul or Spirit' and Ki is generally regarded as meaning literally 'atmosphere, air, universe' and more philosophically: 'Life Force', hence, Reiki assumes a typical translation meaning 'Universal Life Force'.

The great value of Reiki is that because it is guided by the Higher Intelligence, it knows exactly where to go and how to respond to restrictions in the flow of Ki. It can work directly in the unconscious parts of the mind/body which contain negative Ki-inhibiting thoughts and feelings and eliminate them. As Reiki flows through a sick or unhealthy area, it breaks up and washes away any negative thoughts or feelings lodged in the unconscious mind/body thus allowing a normal healthy flow of Ki to resume. As this happens, the unhealthy physical organs and tissues become properly nourished with Ki and begin functioning in a balanced healthy way thus replacing illness with health.

Our physical body is alive because of the 'life force energy' that is flowing though it. If our 'life force' is low or blocked, we are more likely to get sick, but if it is high and free flowing, we more easily maintain health and a feeling of well-being. One thing that disrupts and weakens the flow of 'life force energy' is stress. Type your paragraph here.

Reflexology is a traditional Chinese medicinal therapy which focuses on relieving stress in our bodies by working specifically with hands and feet. Pressure points found in these areas correspond to organs and tissue that normally cannot be reached by a normal massage.   Reflexology is the application of appropriate pressure to specific points and areas on the feet, hands, or ears. These areas and reflex points correspond to different body organs and systems, and pressing them has a beneficial effect on the organs and person’s general health. By stimulating a pressure point the corresponding area will experience a beneficial effect through the reflex of the nervous system. This therapy is non-invasive

Although reflexology is not used to diagnose or cure health disorders, millions of people around the world use it to complement other treatments when addressing conditions like anxiety, asthma, cancer treatment, cardiovascular issues, diabetes, headaches, kidney functions, PMS, and sinusitis.
